One World, One Heart

Well I thought that I was going to be too late to be added to the official list! But according to today's post she will still try to add the links! Yeah! And of course I can still do a post and add a label, right?

Here's what would be nice. Leave a comment on here about what you like to use in your non traditional artwork. I'll choose a winner on the 12th of February and it could be you. You'll hear a knock on your door and I'll shout "You won!" I'll have a bouquet of red (no, yellow) roses, a bottle of champagne (maybe Diet Coke) and a box of Godiva chocolates. NOT! Sounds good though doesn't it?

The prize will be a baggie of watch parts and if you win it you might just say to yourself, "What the HELL am I going to do with this?"

It is officially over! Thank you so much to everyone who has entered my drawing and participated in this event. I now plan on visiting all the blogs of those who left comments.

I will pick a winner and announce it later this morning. I have to go back to the store and get the prizes....oh don't worry, I have the watch parts, it's just......Oh, What the HELL....I ate the damn chocolates, drank the champagne and diet coke and I really wasn't thinking and I bought the roses weeks ago and they are dead! So let me replace everything and then I will be on my way!

I love your humor! Enough that I might try my hand at making collage myself! Especially if I'm your lucky winner.

I'm still holding out that you might show up with chocolate though...don't burst my dream yet ok?

I'm glad to see you've joined in the fun of One World One Heart! (I'm back again this year too!) What a great way to meet other artists and travel the world from your own home.

Thanks for such a generous giveaway! I hope I'm chosen as the lucky winner!!! I have a use for these!

Oh honey, I would never have to ask what the HELL I'd do with watch parts!

And, since I actually read the post before rushing to comment, I like to use anything that isn't nailed down or still living in my artwork. I've been known to save the bones from whatever is for dinner, clean them, bleach them, and call them art supplies. WTH?

Thanks for participating in OWOH. I hope lots of folks find you this way :)

Oooh, a minutiaephile after my own heart! You should come play in (root around in) my watchmaker's drawers.

My latest strange thing to collect for some art work is chocolate wrappers. I've got an idea....

I must have found a kindred spirit because honestly, I've been wanting watch parts 4EVER! And yellow roses are much nicer than red ones. Afraid we disagree on the soda. I'm more of a tea or coffee kinda gal.

I got my OWOH posts up late too, but I hope you'll stop by for a visit. And now I'm off to see more of your blog.

Yes, I could use watch parts...interestingly, I'm sure...but the non-traditional thing I used..recently....um, black guttering. Yep, guttering. Found a whole huge roll at a local thrift store years ago. It aged perfectly...and made a great backdrop on some cards...as well as a wrap on a stainless steel lunch box (recipe) tin for my step-son---couldn't look girly---nope-so black guttering...black leather with silver eyelets embeeded...um hmm...so I hope I am "in time" for you to "count" me in for the watch part drawing...and that it didn't "fly by" me...--From the OKI Stampqueen - alias Sharon

I'm rather new to this whole "Altered Art" scene, so I'm still doing a lot of experimenting around. I really love picking up little "found" items I have have stashed away in jars and plastic zip-lock bags around the house (some of this stuff is about as old as I am!) or that I stumble upon in out of the way stores. It's a whole new mindset, and totally different from the traditional art background I come from. I really love what you've got on your blog so far, and can't wait to see it evolve. Resistors and capacitors, now that's something I can get into!!!! How about a few diodes to add to the bunch? Or some LEDs maybe? I can just see it now!
